Dani Alves Career
Dani Alves began his professional career in 2001 with Bahia. He then enjoyed a productive six-year stint with Sevilla. He later paid €32.5 million to join Barcelona, making him the third-most expensive defender in history at the time. Dani won the triple in his debut year with the team, then the Supercopa de Espaa, UEFA Super Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup the following year.
In the years that followed, he also assisted the team in winning two more Supercopa de Espaa, five La Liga championships, and two UEFA Champions League triumphs. Alves was acquired by Juventus in 2016 on a free transfer. In his lone season with the team, he won the Serie A championship, the Coppa Italiana, and advanced to the Champions League Final. He received a free transfer to the French club Paris Saint-Germain, where he won the domestic triple in his debut year in 2017.
After moving back home, he joined São Paulo in 2019. He won the Campeonato Paulista, his first championship, two years after joining the team. In 2021, he finally returned to Barcelona. He has been a full international for Brazil since 2006 and has featured in three FIFA World Cups, five Copa América games, and three FIFA Confederations Cups. They have also won the 2007 and 2019 editions of the latter competition as well as the 2009 and 2013 FIFA Confederations Cups.
