Humza Yousaf Biography: Hamza Yusuf is a Scottish politician who was born on 7 April 1985 in Glasgow, Scotland. He is a member of the Scottish National Party (SNP) and has been serving as a Member of the Scottish Parliament (MSP) since 2011, representing the Glasgow Pollock constituency.

Both of Joseph’s parents are immigrants to the UK; Her father is from Pakistan and her mother is from Kenya. He grew up in the Pollokshields area of Glasgow and attended Hutchinson’s Grammar School, a private school in the city.

Joseph began his political career at a young age, joining the SNP at the age of 16. She later worked as parliamentary assistant to SNP MSP Sandra White before being elected to the Scottish Parliament in the 2011 Scottish election. At the time, he was the youngest MSP ever elected to the Scottish Parliament.

During his time in office, Joseph has held a number of ministerial positions in the Scottish Government. In 2014 he was appointed as Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development, before becoming Minister of Transport and Islands in 2016. Government.
