Margaret Qualley Biography

Margaret Qualley, an American actress, is known for her appearances in several films and television shows. She was born to actress Andie MacDowell and has a sister, Rainey Qualley, who is also an actress and singer. Margaret started her career as a ballerina and made her acting debut in 2013 with a minor role in the drama film Palo Alto. She gained recognition for her portrayal of a troubled teenager in the HBO series The Leftovers (2014-2017).

Margaret received critical acclaim for her role as Ann Reinking in the FX biographical miniseries Fosse/Verdon (2019), for which she was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award. She has also appeared in films such as The Nice Guys (2016), Death Note (2017), and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019), and lent her voice to the video game Death Stranding (2019). She describes her sister as her “idol” and “best friend in the whole world.” In 2019, Margaret was briefly romantically linked to Pete Davidson, and in 2020, she started dating actor Shia LaBeouf after appearing in Rainey’s music video “Love Me Like You Hate Me.” However, their relationship ended in January 2021 due to controversies surrounding LaBeouf, including sexual battery and assault allegations by his ex-girlfriend and singer FKA twigs. Margaret believes FKA twigs’ allegations. She is now engaged to musician Jack Antonoff.
