National Institute of Open Schooling – This is a famous open school among students who wish to pursue their course from open schools. Earlier it was known as National Open School. This board of education holds exams for secondary and senior secondary class students just like CBSE and CISCE.
The National Institute of Open Schooling is also abbreviated as NIOS was set up to fulfill the needs of a mixed group of aspirants up to the pre-degree level. NIOS was started in year 1979 as a project with in-built flexibilities offered by the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education). MHRD, Government of India established National Open Schooling in the year 1989. Every year, the NIOS Admissions for 10th & 12th classes are held in the September month.
NIOS Admission 2023-24 – 10th, 12th Class [Enrollment]
NIOS admissions for the session 2023-24 have started already. Students who wish to enroll for the open school board can now visit the official link and apply for the admissions
10th and 12th class admissions are open. The applications for the admissions will be accepted till the last date only. Make sure, you apply and submit the form before the last date. Do not wait for the last few days as server might get busy by massive traffic on the admission portal.
NIOS Online Admission Stream 1 – Oct 2023
Students can start enrolling for the Stream 1 admissions from the official portal. Students will have to follow certain steps in order to get the NIOS certification. NIOS provides certifications for secondary and senior classrooms.

Block 2 admissions are now open. Students can fill the NIOS online admission forms from the link given below. Make sure to fill the form before the last. Every year, NIOS conducts the block II admissions for the students in the month Oct-Nov. This year, the forms will be filled by the end of November month.

NIOS Admission Procedure 2022
Students visit to nios.ac.in website. Click on student login and then click on admission forms. From here you will have to enter the location details like state, city and other ID proof verification also. Once you enter the details you can submit the form. After it, you can select your choice of subjects from the offered courses. And after it you can proceed further. But remember that, you must select at least 5 subjects to proceed.
