Rinku Singh was born on October 12, 1997, in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, and is today known as a professional cricketer. He first showed his skill shown in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Rinku Singh is a left-hander batsman and right arm off break bowler, who is currently playing for Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL.
He has five brothers and one sister, of whom he is the third. His father’s name is Khanchandra Singh he used to work as a gas cylinder deliverer to support his family and his mother’s name is Veena Devi.
Despite facing several financial challenges and limited education opportunities, Rinku Singh did not give up on his passion for cricket and took up a job as a sweeper and mopper in a coaching center to fulfill his dream of becoming a good cricketer.
Rinku Singh made his Twenty20 debut for Uttar Pradesh (UP) against Vidarbha at Nagpur on 31 March 2014. He also made his List A debut for UP against Vidarbha at Jaipur on 5 March 2014. His first-class debut came against Punjab. Hyderabad from 5th to 8th November 2016.
One of Rinku Singh’s notable performances came in IPL 2023, where he played a crucial role in the 13th match for his team, Kolkata Knight Riders, against Gujarat Titans on April 9, 2023. He scored 48 runs off 21 balls, which included 5 sixes. Turned the game in his team’s favor in the last over.
